“Echos in Glass” is a poignant short film that explores the inner turmoil of Eitan, a renowned rock musician who is confronted with his own mortality. As Eitan discovers that he is terminally ill, he begins a transformative journey of introspection and self-discovery. The film delves into the stages of his realization, where Eitan chooses to sever ties with the superficial relationships and insincere friends that once surrounded him.
Through a powerful and reflective monologue, Eitan critiques himself and the society that worships false values and beliefs. His solitude in the face of impending death becomes a statement against the facades of social connections, highlighting the stark contrast between authenticity and pretense.
“Echos In glass” is a meditation on life, death, and the search for meaning in a world that often values appearances over substance. Written, Directed, shot, and edited during my time at university, this film is a raw exploration of the human condition, stripped of its societal masks and laid bare in its most vulnerable form.
“After the Silence” is a gripping exploration of two brothers grappling with the scars of their father’s abuse. Written, directed, shot, and edited by me as part of my entrance exam for the Production Track at Tel Aviv University, the film delves deep into the emotional complexities that arise when the older brother distances himself, leaving the younger to bear the weight of their father’s final days alone.
Years later, they meet at the cemetery, where unspoken pain lingers and the hope for reconciliation emerges. Bound by love yet torn by past wounds, the brothers must navigate the silence that once separated them, seeking forgiveness and connection in the shadow of their father’s legacy. This emotionally charged film reflects on the power of family ties and the difficult journey toward healing.
“The Unseen Hand” is a dark and atmospheric film noir that delves into the ruthless cycle of power and the unseen forces that manipulate the world. In the dead of night, a working-class man digs a grave in the forest, hoping to hide a suitcase filled with his hard-earned money. Just as he believes his secret is safe, a suited man emerges from the shadows, gun in hand, and mercilessly takes both the man’s life and his money.
But the suited man’s triumph is short-lived. As he opens the suitcase, reveling in his victory, another figure steps out from the darkness—a man who controls events from the shadows. With the same cold detachment, he echoes the words of the suited man, kills him, and claims the money for himself.
The film serves as a chilling analogy for the endless cycle of exploitation and control, where the working class is preyed upon by the government, and even those in power are ultimately puppets to a higher, unseen force. Shot, directed, and edited by me, “The Unseen Hand” is a tense thriller that reflects on the darker aspects of societal power dynamics and the inevitable consequences of greed.
